How to Cure a Headache with Cinnamon: Even Migraine Sufferers Can Get Relief with This Miracle Spice

What You Need to Cure a Headache/Migraine with Cinnamon -

Curing a migraine or headache with cinnamon is cheap and easy. All you need is a coffee mug or cup, half a cup of milk, some honey and a small bottle of cinnamon, which you can buy at any supermarket.

How To Prepare the Cinnamon -

Pour the half cup of milk into a saucepan (if you're using the stove top) or a bowl (if you're using a microwave) and add two teaspoons of powdered cinnamon. Heat the milk and cinnamon until close to boiling point, but don't allow it to boil. Now, take the mixture off the heat and stir vigorously with a spoon. Add a teaspoon full of honey (organic, if possible) and mix the milk again, stirring the honey well into the liquid. Now, it's ready to drink.

Drinking the Cinnamon/Milk Mix to Cure a Headache -

As you're drinking, keep stirring the milk, making sure you stir the cinnamon 'sludge' at the bottom of the mug. If you don't, by the time you get to the bottom of the drink, you'll end up with a mouthful of powdery, clumpy cinnamon, rather than drinking it with the milk and honey.

Once you've drunk the cinnamon, milk and honey mixture, relax a few minutes and wait for it to take effect. The hot milk and honey relaxes you, so you begin to feel good as soon as you've drunk it.

Cinnamon Sticks for Headaches or Migraine -

You can also use a cinnamon stick (cinnamon in it's natural form), if you don't like the cinnamon powder. The best way to do this is to heat the milk in a saucepan, with the cinnamon stick submerged in it.

Cinnamon has lots of wonderful alternative healing uses from lowering blood sugar levels, reducing cholesterol and helping numb tooth ache.
