Justin Bieber and U2 together to help Japan
Justin Bieber and the Irish band U2 are among the artists participating in an album that only has digital version to be released by Universal Music pro funds for victims of the earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
They are also confirmed Rihanna, Bon Jovi and Nicki Minaj.
The world's largest music company hopes the album will be available later this week, although the list of artists is not yet fully defined. Proceeds will go to the Japanese Red Cross, said a spokesman for Universal Music.
"Only we will digitally because it's faster, and this will be a worldwide launch. The plan is to have available this week, "he said.

Lady Gaga, part of Universal's stable of artists, could contribute to the album, after raising money for victims of the recent disaster in Japan by selling a special wristband.
