Continuing the rescue of survivors in Joplin

After the disaster caused by a tornado in Joplin, Missouri, rescue workers continued searching for survivors. So far we have counted over 120 dead.

The authorities announced the possibility that new storms, more powerful, occur in the area.

Meanwhile, residents and rescuers dug through the rubble of buildings looking for people who are still alive.

More than 2 000 buildings in the city located a few miles from Kansas and Oklahoma were damaged or completely destroyed. The warning of the arrival of the tornado took just 24 minutes earlier.
