- Shakira won two awards at the Billboard Music Awards that took place this weekend at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The Colombian singer who could not attend the delivery of the BMA's, took two awards for Latino and Latin music artist for his worldwide hit Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).
The Latino presence in the awards was felt with these awards and Enrique Iglesias at the best album by Euphoria.
